Mr Andrew Spicer attended our October
club night, bringing with him a rare Farefield
motorcycle which is due to be auctioned soon.

There is a club night this month, on 19th,
escape the Xmas spirit, usual time and place.
The usual Boxing day meet is at Market
Rasen Market Place, 11.00am .

The Fish and Chip night attracted a good
crowd as usual, only a dozen or so attended the luncheon meet, but those on
motorcycles had a run round after, in good weather.

Spicer from Dee Atkinson Auctioneers, he is bringing a 1914 Fairfield, on which
he has done some research, this will be sold at the next Sledmere sale. All
absorbing talk on the history of Jaguar cars was the subject of the club night
in May. Thanks Nigel.
Pre 40,s was well attended, some 30 plus machines, not all strictly pre 1940,
followed an entertaining route to the new Bomber Command Memorial at Lincoln. An
interesting venue with a lot of interactive displays and an excellent cafe.
The excellent weather was a bonus, thanks to Stewart for organising a

July our 2nd Breakfast Meet at TIA Rescue, Wroot, DN9 3DY, 9.30am on.
The talk on flying Vulcan Bombers by J Connelly was absorbing, the detail required to keep one flying is immense. A very interesting evening.
April's Bluestone Run caught hopefully the last of the bad weather, around 20 stalwarts braved the Lincolnshire Wolds on a damp, cold day. Thanks to Stewart and Harry for a good route.
Coming up is our first Breakfast Run, on the 6th June, meet up at Caistor Lakes for 9.30am. All welcome.June club night is come on your bike night, no prizes, just get the machine out!
February Social evening celebrated the sections 40th anniversary,
nice to see four section founder members as guests.
Our 2018 programme continued with an illustrated talk on the Syston Park Speed trials covering the history, resurrection and future of this event.
April sees the start of our riding events, the Bluestone Heath run starts at Caistor Lakes, 10.00am, 8th April and takes an entertaining route over the Lincolnshire Wolds.

Club night on 18th April features a talk by ex Vulcan Bomber Pilot, John Connelly, a talk not to be missed.

A lower attendance than usual for the November auction. Has everyone cleared all their unwanted items out? A respectable sum was raised for section funds, thanks to all who contributed.
January club night features a talk by Ken Mellors, author, motorcyclist and grass/ speedway rider for many years.

A quiet month , now the winter approaches.
